Finance Minister Attends FII7: Emphasizes Global Strategic Partnerships and Economic Growth
Riyadh, Oct. 24: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, was in attendance at the inaugural session of the seventh edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII7) held in Saudi Arabia under the theme “The New Compass.”
During the event, the minister underscored the critical significance of persistently cultivating global strategic partnerships that foster economic opportunities and bolster endeavors aimed at sustaining a stable and sustainable global economic system. This would be achieved through the strengthening of investments and the diversification of economies to bolster developmental efforts.
Shaikh Salman highlighted the pivotal role played by FII as a platform to showcase initiatives and capabilities that support technological advancements in sectors contributing to economic growth. He acknowledged that FII serves as a platform for reinforcing international collaboration, enabling discussions on the rapid changes impacting the global economy. Yasir bin O. Al Rumayyan, Governor of the Public Investment Fund and Chairman of the FII Institute, presided over the opening of FII7.
