Announcement of the Fourth Edition of the Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Quran Award
The fourth edition of the Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Quran Award has been officially announced. This prestigious event is organized by Al Noor Charity Welfare and is held under the patronage of Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, who serves as the Honorary Chairperson of Al Noor Charity Welfare.
Shaikha Lamia bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Chairperson of Al Noor Charity Welfare and the Head of the Award Permanent Committee, expressed her confidence in the previous editions’ success and noted the high level of public demand for this award.
The award competition is divided into four categories for both males and females. The first category involves memorizing the entire Holy Quran, encompassing Surah Al-Baqarah to Surah An-Nas, and is open to both Bahraini citizens and residents, regardless of their age. The second category focuses on memorizing ten parts of the Quran, starting from Surah Al-Ankabut to Surah An-Nas, exclusively for Bahraini participants, with no age restrictions.
The third category is designed for Bahrainis up to 15 years old, requiring them to memorize one-tenth of the Quran, spanning from Surah Al-Mujadila to Surah An-Nas. The fourth category is dedicated to the memorization of the Amma part of the Quran and is intended for Baraem Al-Quran (Children of Quran) who are Bahraini residents up to 10 years old.
Registration for the competition is open through its official website until December 7. The contest is set to commence in the last week of January 2024. The final ten qualifiers will be selected during the second week of Ramadan, in accordance with the contest’s schedule.
