Bulgari Opulent Arrival: Luxurious Rome Hotel Introduces Stunning 300m² Suite
The much-anticipated Bulgari hotel in Italy has officially announced its opening date. After the recent introduction of a sophisticated hotel complex in Japan, the esteemed Italian brand is redirecting its attention to a place of profound significance—Rome, its place of origin. On June 9th, the luxury powerhouse will unveil its ninth hotel at 10 Piazza Augusto Imperatore, nestled in the heart of the Campo Marzio district.
This establishment in Italy, especially in Rome, marks a return to Bulgari roots, departing from its previous strategy of global expansion. The hotel will reside in a historic building designed by architect Vittorio Ballio Morpurgo and constructed in the 1940s. With 114 rooms and suites, the structure is adorned with colors and inspirations drawn from the Eternal City. Bulgari pays homage to Rome’s rich heritage, incorporating references to the reign of Emperor Augustus into the very fabric of the establishment.
A design that seamlessly intertwines the past and present Continuing their tradition, the Milanese architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel is leading the hotel’s design, skillfully merging historical elements with modernity. The Roman heritage is evident in both the exterior and interior designs of the building. The 114 rooms are meticulously adorned in one of four colors: white, yellow, red, and green. Every decorative aspect is thoughtfully considered, from the use of materials such as marble to the Bulgari-patterned tapestries. The Bulgari Suite, a pinnacle of opulence within the hotel, spans 300 square meters, offering one of the most captivating views of the city. Furnished with pieces from Flexform and Maxalto and featuring bespoke tapestries from the esteemed manufacturer Rubelli, the suite epitomizes the zenith of ultra-luxury.
In addition to the sumptuous suites and rooms, the hotel boasts cutting-edge amenities and facilities, promising guests a holistic wellness experience. The 1500-square-meter Bulgari Spa includes a 25-meter indoor pool and nine rooms offering exclusive and innovative body and mind treatments. A dedicated fitness area, featuring a training method exclusively designed for Bulgari, is also available. To complete the experience, the hotel features a range of restaurants such as Il Ristorante-Niko and Romito, or La Terrazza, catering to diverse culinary preferences.
Bulgari Hotels & Resorts is set for further expansion, with plans for the opening of three additional hotel complexes in the near future, destined for Miami, Los Angeles, and the Maldives.
