HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Meets with Speaker of Council of Representatives and Chairman of Shura Council
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a meeting today with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HE Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, and the Chairman of the Shura Council, HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, at Gudaibiya Palace.
During the meeting, His Royal Highness emphasized the significance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s address delivered during the opening ceremony of the second session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives. The opening ceremony, held under the patronage of His Majesty the King, outlined His Majesty’s vision for the next phase of the Kingdom’s development and national contributions.
His Royal Highness called for an enhancement of cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Authorities to realize the desired goals for the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister acknowledged the contributions of the Legislative Authority in supporting the development of the Kingdom.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad conveyed his best wishes for the success of the Legislative Authority and expressed his hope that the second session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives would contribute to the Kingdom’s developmental achievements.
His Royal Highness also acknowledged the role of Team Bahrain in supporting the visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and in achieving accomplishments that will benefit all.
In response, HE Al-Musallam and HE Al Saleh expressed their gratitude for His Royal Highness’s dedication to strengthening cooperation between the Executive and Legislative Authorities.
HE Al-Musallam and HE Al Saleh reaffirmed their commitment to serving the Kingdom and its citizens.
The Deputy Prime Minister, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, and other senior officials were also present at the meeting.
