Commencement of Online Learning in Bahrain New Academic Year Initiates Hybrid Teaching Approach
As the new academic year dawns, Bahrain embarks on the realm of online learning. From October 11 to October 24, students will be engaged primarily through the collaborative platforms of Microsoft Teams and the Ministry of Education’s dedicated educational portal.
The educational portal will serve as a hub for lesson schedules, interactive activities, discussion sessions, and recorded TV lessons, offering youngsters the convenience to access them on YouTube as well.
Over the summer break, a dedicated studio was established at Wadi Al-Sail Primary and Intermediate Boys School to record more than 500 TV lessons, facilitating seamless distance learning experiences.

The resumption of in-person teaching has been postponed until October 24, allowing ample time for the comprehensive testing of teachers and educational staff for the coronavirus.
