Pioneered by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities, this factory stands as a testament to tradition. With dedicated units employing time-honored weaving techniques, it breathes life into authentic craftsmanship.
The factory warmly welcomes visitors, offering access from 8 AM to 1 PM, and again from 3 PM to 5 PM, Saturday through Thursday. Immerse yourself in workshops that unravel the secrets of this craft, while also providing an opportunity to purchase wares crafted by local artisans.
Embedded in the factory’s essence is a design that pays homage to its surroundings. Leopard Banchini, the design visionary, drew inspiration from the very materials that palm trees bestow.
