Bahrain Water Garden to Reopen with a Stunning Transformation in March
Bahrain’s beloved Water Garden in Gufool is poised to unveil its rejuvenated splendor this coming March. Following a comprehensive overhaul amounting to over BHD2.5 million, the iconic attraction has undergone an impressive transformation. The revitalization efforts have introduced a variety of enhancements, including the addition of fruit trees like lemon, pomegranate, mango, and fig, as well as aromatic trees such as Indian jasmine. Both lakes have been cleared of clay deposits, and numerous seating areas have been incorporated, offering visitors an even more enjoyable experience.
During a visit to the development last August, Works, Municipalities Affairs, and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf emphasized the significance of preserving the historical essence of this treasured garden.
