Bahrain indoor dining hiatus remains in place, with a further extension of three weeks, as confirmed by the National Medical Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The suspension mandates that restaurants exclusively offer outdoor dining until at least Saturday, March 14.
Initiated on Sunday, January 31, the initial halt on indoor dining remains in effect. Concurrently, all other restrictions initially enforced are also prolonged. These encompass the continued suspension of in-person learning in nurseries, schools, and universities, along with the continued closure of gyms and sports halls. Although outdoor gym classes are permitted, participation is capped at 30 individuals.
Furthermore, social gatherings and events in private residences or other venues are restricted to a maximum of 30 attendees.
Periodic reviews of these decisions will be conducted, accounting for the latest COVID-19 developments and statistics.
This development follows Bahrain’s recent implementation of a third PCR test for incoming travelers. Visitors to the Kingdom are now required to undergo a test upon arrival, awaiting results while in quarantine. Additionally, a second test is mandated on the tenth day post-arrival. The Ministry of Health has now introduced a fifth-day test as well.
As Bahrain adds the Russian Sputnik vaccine to its options, individuals now have four vaccine choices to consider for their protection.
