Travel News Kingdom Of Bahrain: Updated List of Countries Allowing Entry for Vaccinated Travelers

List of Countries Allowing Vaccinated Travelers to Enter

Bahrain has been diligently implementing its vaccination campaign, distributing four different vaccines across the nation.

Being among the pioneering countries to introduce a digital vaccine passport, Bahrain is poised to witness its utility sooner than anticipated. A growing number of countries worldwide are relaxing travel restrictions for individuals who have been vaccinated against COVID-19.

At the more lenient end of the spectrum, some countries are recognizing proof of vaccination as an alternative to conventional testing and quarantine mandates.

Poland has recently joined this trend by granting vaccinated travelers an exemption from mandatory quarantine upon entry. However, this relaxation is currently limited to countries from which Poland allows restricted travel, encompassing all EU nations and around a dozen others.

Estonia, in the Baltic region, has opened its doors to global travelers, permitting entry without a ten-day self-isolation requirement. This waiver applies to those who have received the vaccine or have recovered from COVID-19 within the past six months.

Iceland and Romania, located at opposite corners of Europe, are eliminating rigorous testing and quarantine obligations for travelers armed with a vaccination certificate. Similarly, individuals who have a proven history of COVID-19 and subsequent recovery can also enter.

Effective from March 1, Cyprus, a Mediterranean island, is slated to admit all vaccinated travelers in a bid to rejuvenate its tourism sector.

The British and Greek governments are collaborating on a vaccination certification system that might allow British citizens to visit Greece as early as May, according to The Times.

The Seychelles, an archipelago off Africa’s east coast, announced last month that it would welcome anyone who can demonstrate they’ve received the final dose of any vaccine at least two weeks before arrival.

Several countries are contemplating such measures but have yet to formalize them. Thailand’s tourism minister has indicated that the country’s borders might reopen to all vaccinated tourists in July. Similarly, Singapore is exploring the possibility of easing travel restrictions for vaccinated individuals, contingent upon the vaccines’ efficacy in significantly curbing virus transmission.

Therefore, as you receive your vaccine, ensure you keep all pertinent documents. Later this year, they could be the key to enjoying the beach or encountering obstacles at border control.
