Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa inaugurated the Agro Careers digital platform today during a ceremony held under his patronage. Marking a significant milestone for Bahrain’s agricultural sector, the platform is the first initiative of its kind in the Kingdom.
Designed to support aspiring farmers, Agro Careers provides comprehensive academic and professional guidance, helping young Bahrainis build the knowledge and skills needed to enter and thrive in the agricultural field. The platform aims to empower national talent and promote modern, innovative farming practices.
During the inauguration, Shaikh Mohammed highlighted the strategic importance of the agricultural sector, emphasizing that its development can attract and enable more Bahrainis to pursue careers in agriculture. He noted that strengthening this sector would drive greater innovation and contribute to broader national progress.
Shaikh Mohammed also affirmed that this initiative aligns with the Kingdom’s ongoing development efforts, led by His Majesty King Hamad and guided by the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He added that Agro Careers reflects Bahrain’s commitment to enhancing food security, diversifying the economy, and creating new opportunities for youth.
Through the launch of Agro Careers, Bahrain continues to demonstrate its dedication to sustainable growth and to fostering a new generation of agricultural professionals equipped to meet future challenges.
