HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Calls for the Celebration of Olympic Day on November 4
His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), has issued directives to hold the Olympic Day on November 4.
The Bahrain Olympic Committee, in collaboration with national sports federations, will be responsible for organizing the Olympic Day in response to the annual invitation from the International Olympic Committee.
His Highness expressed his commitment to promoting a culture of sports through a series of sporting events designed to reach all segments of society.
HH Shaikh Khalid praised the success of previous editions of the Olympic Day and extended gratitude to both public and private institutions for their involvement in this year’s edition.
“Olympic Day serves as a platform to encourage activities that enhance physical and mental well-being, as well as sportsmanship. Bahrain consistently observes Olympic Day to reinforce these principles and disseminate them throughout society,” added HH Shaikh Khalid.
