Kuwait Crown Prince Commends Saudi Arabia Hosting of GCC-ASEAN Summit
Riyadh, October 20, 2023 – Kuwait Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressed his appreciation for Saudi Arabia role in hosting the recent summit between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) in Riyadh.
In messages conveyed to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber emphasized that the Kingdom hosting of the summit underscores its significant and central position on both the global and regional stages.
Furthermore, he acknowledged that this summit showcases the Kingdom commitment to fostering cooperation and strengthening existing relationships among the participating nations across various domains. It also highlights their determination to engage in discussions on issues of shared interest, particularly in light of ongoing global challenges.
