Attorney General Takes Part in GCC Meeting
Dr. Ali bin Fadhel Al Buainin, the Attorney General, was a participant in the 15th gathering of Public Prosecutors and Attorneys General from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations.
In his introductory remarks, Dr. Al Buainain discussed prior decisions aimed at enhancing performance and operational procedures. He stressed the importance of continuing to offer highly specialized training courses for members to ensure the successful handling of criminal challenges.
The meeting delved into the items on its agenda, with a particular focus on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Ethics Document. This document stemmed from a proposal made by the Bahrain Attorney General’s Office regarding the utilization of AI in the operations of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Furthermore, experiences related to financial fraud cases, visual investigations, crime categorization, and specialized prosecutions were thoroughly reviewed.
The meeting was concluded with the issuance of resolutions and recommendations.
