Oil Minister Discusses Cooperation with UN Resident Coordinator in Bahrain
Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, the Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, recently met with Khaled El Mekwad, the UN Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
During the meeting, they explored ways to strengthen collaboration between the two parties. Minister Bin Daina lauded the pivotal role played by UN agencies in advancing sustainable development goals through their global coordination efforts.
He emphasized Bahrain’s commitment to aligning its development plans and programs with the objectives of sustainable development.
El Mekwad, in turn, commended the Kingdom’s achievements across various sectors and extended his best wishes for Bahrain’s continued success.
