In a collaborative effort to uphold regulations, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) recently conducted a comprehensive inspection campaign within the Southern Governorate.
Teaming up with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) under the Ministry of Interior, as well as the Southern Governorate Police Directorate, this joint initiative aimed to ensure compliance with labor market and residency laws.
As a result of the campaign, several violations pertaining to labor regulations and residency mandates were identified and subsequently referred for appropriate legal actions.
Underlining its unwavering commitment, LMRA emphasized its dedication to vigilantly address any infringements through an ongoing, rigorous inspection strategy, bolstered by close collaboration with pertinent governmental bodies.
Additionally, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority extended its appeal to the entire society, urging them to actively support the endeavors of government agencies in combating unlawful labor practices.
